      Karlee Squires is a Canadian born triple threat. She began training as a competitive dancer and singer at the age of three and since then her passion has been performing and building a career in "La La Land" (the entertainment biz). Karlee began pursuing acting and film making at AMDA College and Conservatory for the Performing Arts (NY & LA), obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Theatre. Karlee has spent the last five years living in Los Angeles, professionally performing, teaching and working in film production.  She loves performing on stage and working behind the scenes and pursues both as a career. 

​      As an actor, Karlee is extremely motivated ​and loves performing. This motivation and tenacity led Karlee to book her first professional theatre job three days out of college.  Since then, she has been consistently performing, learning, creating, and growing as a performer.  She attends singing, acting, and dance classes from some of the top teachers in Los Angeles. Karlee most recently worked with the groundbreaking and inventive new Los Angeles Theatre Company, Sound Stage LIVE, in their production of The Little Mermaid, directed and choerographed by Karl Warden. She took the stage as mersister Atina and in the female ensemble, most memorable as a tap dancing seagull.

      You can currently catch Karlee performing on stage in Manson's Girls, a new 70's rock musical about the Charles Manson Family murders, told from the perspective of the girls. It's a brand new musical from New Musicals Inc. performing at the Broadwater Mainstage (formerly Sacred Fools) apart of the Hollywood Fringe Festival (May 31-June 23). Next up, you will see her in Dreamgirls playing sweetheart at the Cupcake Theatre running July 20 - September 2.  Karlee also pops up as many classic to crazy characters in Creating Arts Company (CAC) shows, performing at the Pico Playhouse year round. 

       Karlee recently stared on screen in NBC/Universal, E!'s final episode of Face Forward, which aired on Snapchat December 2017. Karlee was a guest star in the special Sara Evans episode of You Kiddin' Me on Facebook Watch, which will air late 2018. 

      Behind the camera, Karlee holds positions ranging from associate producer, assistant director, to production coordinator.  She has spent the last two years working as a Marketing/Production Assistant for AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts and in the past has taken on roles behind the scenes such as an gaffer, grip, stunt supervisor, and script supervisor.  She has spent numerous hours on set and specialises in planning and research. Most recently, she completed working with Radius Productions on an independent feature film as production assistant with the film being released in 2018.  

      From picking up a script to performing on the stage and screen or getting to run around set and be apart of the amazing creation process, Karlee loves working in the wonderful, exciting, and ever evolving entertainment industry.
